SAILING SCHOOLS

Sailing Schools, along with yacht clubs, sailing clubs, and windsurfing clubs are the foundation of the Sail Canada membership program. There are over 175 schools currently members of Sail Canada.

Many commercial and non-commercial sailing and power-boating centers are members of Sail Canada. Schools become members of Sail Canada through application to their respective provincial sailing associations (PSA). The annual membership fee is paid to the PSA, and half of that is forwarded to Sail Canada. For further information or to become a member school please contact your provincial sailing association or Sail Canada.

In order to offer Sail Canada programs, courses must be taught by current Sail Canada instructors who are certified at the appropriate level.
