Sustainability

Sail Canada is committed to keeping our waterways, harbours and beaches clean, safe and healthy to ensure that future generations can experience the adventure, excitement & beauty they offer us.

We are proud to promote best sustainability practices:

  • Sharing educational resources with our Schools, Instructors and Coaches
  • Building awareness and inspire action and encourage stewardship of ocean & freshwater sustainability & literacy amongst our Clubs, Schools, Regatta Hosts, and every sailor & boater across Canada.

World Sailing Sustainability Education Programme

World Sailing and Sail Canada wants its sailors to share their love of sailing, while working together to protect the waters of the world. Sailing is part of a global movement to create change and positive impact, and you can be a part of this through your actions, on and off the water.
