OFFICIALS

Officials play a key role in any sailing race or regatta! Sail Canada Race Officer, Judge and Umpire programs provide training and certification from the Club to National level, with World Sailing providing International Certification. Event Volunteers are always in high demand! From helping out on site during an event to being a key member of the Organizing Committee, there is a role for everyone!

Sail Canada Judge Development Sessions – Black Cat Regatta

The purpose of the Black Cat fictional event is not to principally test your knowledge of the rules, but rather to alert you to the myriad of difficulties that have to be addressed and solved by the Chief Judge for the event. In this fictional event, the chief judge is you. The “event” will run for four nights February 5, 7, 12, and 14 from 7:00 – 9:00 EST. Cost: $25. Click here to register!
