OFFICIALS

Officials play a key role in any sailing race or regatta! Sail Canada Race Officer, Judge and Umpire programs provide training and certification from the Club to National level, with World Sailing providing International Certification. Event Volunteers are always in high demand! From helping out on site during an event to being a key member of the Organizing Committee, there is a role for everyone!

OFFICIAL REGISTRATION

Sail Canada asks that all Certified Officials complete the online Official Registration annually, prior to officiating each season. This process takes only a few minutes, and helps ensure that contact information, certifications and prerequisites are up to date. The Official Registration includes agreeing to Sail Canada’s Safe Sport Package and the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS). There is no cost to register and once your registration is complete, you will receive a code for 25% off an order from Helly Hansen.

Thank you to all who have completed your Official Registration for 2023! If you have not yet completed it, please do so through your Sail Canada Profile.
