Sail Canada’s Championships provide an opportunity for sailors to train and compete with sailors in their region and at the national level. The goals of these championships are to:
Provide opportunities for development of competitive sailors, through valuable training & racing experiences
Provide development and mentoring opportunities to coaches
Deliver training and development opportunities for officials and volunteers
Build legacy in the host region for future event hosting through development of officials, volunteers, venues & local resources
Serve as a talent identification opportunity for regional and provincial sailing teams
