Sail Canada extends its sincere thanks to Daniel Conrod as he steps down from his role as Chair of the Race Management Subcommittee. After nearly a decade of service, Daniel leaves behind an impressive legacy—leading the group with professionalism, insight, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Under his leadership, the Subcommittee advanced several courseware updates and introduced new programming that has strengthened Race Management across Canada. His collaborative approach and dedication to excellence have had a lasting impact on our community.
While Daniel is stepping down from his leadership role, we’re pleased he will continue to serve as a Race Officer at the provincial and national level in Nova Scotia.
We’re also pleased to welcome Paul Brennan as the new Chair. A lifelong sailor and experienced project manager, Paul is a dedicated member of Ashbridge Bay Yacht Club in Toronto. His thoughtful leadership and deep connection to the sport will be a great asset as we continue to support Race Officials across the country.
