Athlete Bio

Growing up, Georgia found her passion for sailing at the Chester Yacht Club. She soon joined the Canadian Optimist Atlantic Sailing Team, along with the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron Race Team. From a young age, Georgia knew she wanted to compete at an Olympic Games.

She is now juggling an undergraduate degree in civil engineering at Queen’s University and sailing 49er FX with her sister, Antonia. Georgia is aiming to medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

In the Fall 2021, they won the bronze medal at the 2021 49er FX European Championships held in Greece, then took the 6th spot at the 2021 49er FX Sailing World Championships in Oman, posting the best Canadian performance ever at this competition that has been held since 2013.
