Athlete Bio

Coralie started sailing at the age of 7 at the Hudson Yacht Club, home club of famous sailors Evert Bastet and Gerry Roufs, who inspired her. She quickly progressed in the Optimist class and competed in many international regattas including the 2012 World Championships. At age 14, she then switched to the Laser Radial to pursue her development on the Quebec Sailing Team. Her performance at the Canadian Youth Championship in 2015 qualified her for the ISAF Youth World Championships in Malaysia. Besides her passion for sailing which drives her to want to always be a better athlete, Coralie studies health sciences in CEGEP and represents the University of Montreal alpine ski team when she isn’t on the water.
