The Annual Meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 7:00pm EDT. The Annual Meeting will be conducted using zoom webinar, in conjunction with ElectionBuddy running the election and motions.

Please take notice of the following purposes of the meeting that represent the draft agenda:
- To receive and to approve the minutes of the Annual Meeting of members held on October 25, 2023.
- To receive the Report of the Nominating Committee and to elect members to the Board of Directors
- To receive the reports from the Provincial Sailing Associations
- To receive the Annual Report
- To receive the Report of the Audit Committee, to consider the audited financial statements for the year ended April 30, 2024; and to appoint the Association’s auditors for the year ending April 30, 2025.
Consistent with Sail Canada Bylaw Section 3; Sail Canada members in good standing have the right to vote by proxy. For a proxy to be valid, the completed 2024 Proxy Form must be received in the Sail Canada office by mail, or email (sailcanada@sailing.ca )
no later than 5pm EDT October 29th, 2024 (new extended deadline).
Please note:
All virtual Annual Meeting attendees are required to register in advance of the Annual Meeting.
All registered Annual Meeting attendees who will be voting on behalf of their member organization, must have a completed
proxy, appointing them as the proxy holder, by an officer of the member organization so that the attendee can be registered as the vote holder for the member organization. The deadline to have the
proxy submitted is October 29, 2024 (new extended deadline).
