The 2018 Sail Canada Annual General Meeting and Leader Summit - Wrap up
Monday, November 5th, 2018 - Kingston, ON
The 2018 Sail Canada Annual General Meeting and Leader Summit took place earlier this month in Vancouver, BC. The Sail Canada Board of Directors, Staff, Provincial Sailing Associations, Committees, Coaches and Partner Representatives gathered throughout the week to discuss current affairs and establish working plans for 2019.
The AGM took place on Friday October 19th, highlighting the main strategic goals, accomplishments, and planned initiatives for the future. The Sail Canada membership elected two Directors at Large.
It is with great pleasure that Sail Canada congratulates Bob Greenhalgh on his reelection to the Board for a 3 year term, while welcoming Zach Baum to the Board for a 3 year term.
Sail Canada would like to extend many thanks to departing Board member, Karen McRae who has shown much dedication and commitment to the board over the past few years. Engraved within the sailing community, Karen has passed on her knowledge for decades. Continually giving back to the community. We look forward to working with Karen in the future and appreciate her knowledge and expertise in the world of sailing.
