Strong finishes on final day of Youth Worlds!

Sanya saved the best for last with the sun finally breaking through the clouds and delivering a consistent 11- 13 knot easterly breeze for the final day of racing which included only one last race for all fleets.
Both the 420 Girls team and Radial sailor Clara Gravely did not let the final opportunity to move up to the scoreboard go to waste.
Georgia Lewin-LaFrance and Madeline Gillis finished off a strong regatta with a 3rd place in the last race, moving them up 2 spots to finish in an impressive 6th place overall.
Clara kept up her momentum from Day 4 and continued to climb up the scoreboard. After sailing her way to a 2nd place in the final race, she moved up 2 more spots finishing her first Youth Worlds in 14th place.
Ryan Anderson sailed a strong event with multiple top 10 finished in the Radial Boys Fleet. Ryan finished the event in 16th overall.
In the 29er fleet brothers and Youth Worlds rookies, Will and Sam Bonin finished 13th in the final race moving them up 1 place to finish in 15th overall.
Sisters Helen and Teddy Horangic finished in 11th overall with an impressive 2 bullets over the 5 days of racing.
In the 420 Boys Fleet, Pat Wilson and Arie Moffat finished the event in 14th overall.
