It’s an event like no other. You are the chief judge of a fictitious regatta and every problem that you every dreamed of encountering has happened. There are an unbelievable number of problems, protests and requests for redress. It is a true window into what a chief judge at an event might encounter.
This is similar to the Black Cat Regatta with more protests. The seminar runs for four nights, and it is highly recommended that you be able to attend all four sessions: Tuesdays, March 3 and 10 and Thursdays March 5 and 12 from 7:00 – 9:00 EST.
The cost is a mere $35.00 for four great evenings. Homework will be required prior to the seminar and the next three nights.
The course will be worth 120 Continuing Education Units (CEU) and also qualify for protest hearing experience and will be run through Ontario Sailing with help from Sail Canada.
The course will be run by Katie Coleman Nicoll (NJ-ON) and Dale King (RJ-ON).
