Racing at the Miami World Cup Starts Tomorrow!

Monday, January 22nd, 2018 - Miami, Florida 

Regatta Park in Coconut Grove Miami, FL has been filling up with some fo the worlds best sailors as they get set to race in the 2018 Miami World Cup. While the Miami WC will be the second event in the World Sailing World Cup series, which began in October in Gamagori, Japan, it will be the first World Cup event of the 2018 series for many Canadian sailors.

With the forecast calling for strong winds into the week, the event is sure to offer some exciting racing.

Isabella Bertold – Radial – Vancouver, BC
Sarah Douglas – Radial – Toronto, ON

Coralie Vitteqoc – Radial – Montreal, ON

Muara Dewey — Radial — Victoria, BC

Tom Ramshaw – Finn – Toronto, ON

Kyle Martin – Finn - Vancouver, BC

Alex Heinzemann – 49er  — Victoria, BC

Justin Barnes – 49er —  Pickering, ON
Andrew Wood — 49er —Vancouver, BC

Ryan Wood — 49er — Vancouver, BC

The Laser, Laser Radial, Finn and will have six days of fleet racing from Tuesday 23 January which will culminate in LIVE medal races on Sunday 28 January while competitors in the 49er, 49er FX, and RS:X will have five days of fleet racing from Tuesday, January 24 to Friday, 26 January with LIVE medal races on Saturday, January 27.
