Laser and Laser Radials hit the water at the 2019 Fort Lauderdale OCR

Friday January 11th 2019 - Kingston, ON

Lauderdale Yacht Club has been filling up with an array of sailors in the Laser, Laser Radial, and Laser 4.7 fleet. With four days of racing ahead, contestants are ready to hit the water at the 2019 Fort Lauderdale OCR.

Listed as one of Sail Canada’s Internal Selection event for the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, there is a lot at stake for our Canadian sailors. This event will determine which sailors will be representing Canada at the games in the Laser and Laser Radial fleets.

Keep your eyes out for Canadian sailors, including some of our alumni athletes, such as Lee Parkhill making a comeback on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean nearing the gulf stream.
