The Canadian J/24 Class Association is pleased to announce its 2026 regatta schedule.
Building on the success of 2025’s Canadian Championship, three additional class-sanctioned events have been added as part of the association’s plan to rebuild the J/24 class in Canada and bring sailors together for competitive racing.
World Qualifiers:
- Ontario Championship, Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club in Toronto, May 22 – 24
- Canadian Championship, Nepean Sailing Club in Ottawa, June 25 – 28
- Coupe du Québec, Pointe-Claire Yacht Club in Montreal, July 31 – August 2
- North American Championship, Port Credit Yacht Club in Mississauga, September 30 – October 4
These events will serve as qualifiers for the 2027 J/24 World Championship in Rochester, New York, hosted by the Rochester Yacht Club. Qualifying details to be released soon.
Other clubs interested in offering J/24 starts include:
- Bay of Quinte Yacht Club as part of their 150th Jubilee, July 9 – 11.
- Whitby Yacht Club as part of their Cam Smith Open, July 24 – 26.
