Toronto, ON – 2.4mR World Championships
Mist, fog and shifty breeze from the east greeted sailors at the start of Day 2 at the 2.4mR World Championships. Sailors added three races to their scorecard with a major shift in the overall results. Canadian Allan Leibel shot up the leaderboard to 3rd overall behind Megan Pascoe (GBR) and Bjørnar Erikstad (NOR) with a consistent day of 2, 3 & 7. Paul Tingley slipped back to 7th while Sweden’s Stellan Berlin is making his comeback from a DSQ yesterday posting a 3, 1, 1 moving into 10th.
The heavy hitters continue to battle it out with two more days of scheduled racing before crowning the champion of the 2.4mR
