CSBC Contribution Program
Do YOU have a really worthwhile boating safety project that’s never gotten off the ground due to a lack of funding? Or a successful ongoing program that you would like to take to the next level ? The Canadian Safe Boating Council (CSBC) may just be able to give you a helping hand through our Grass Roots Contribution Program starting in 2015.
The CSBC is offering funding up to a maximum of $2,500 per application to Canadian not-for-profit agencies, organizations and other groups to help promote boating safety in their communities. (A total of $40,000 is available under the program.)
An organization may apply for more than one grant, but a separate application must be presented for each project. The funding is available for projects that will be completed by January 2016.
Applications must be postmarked by Dec 15, 2014. Once received, successful project applicants will be notified before March 1, 2015 and can commence work as early as April 1, 2015.
To apply, you must complete an application that will include details about your project including target audience, expected results, a budget and how you will measure success. The application form can be found by going to www.csbc.ca.
Applications for 2015 funding must be postmarked no later than December 15, 2014. Apply Now!
