Sail Canada is looking for coaches for the 2026 Youth Sailing World Championships to be held December 11-19 in Vilamoura, Portugal.
The staff will be selected based on the principle of sending a team of specialists best capable of assisting athletes in achieving podium performances at the event. All staff must meet the World Sailing eligibility criteria, sign and comply with all agreements by the deadline, complete mandatory training sessions, and be a member in good standing of the Coaching Association of Canada by December 12, 2026. Staff are selected based on their skills and portfolio, not because an athlete they have worked with has qualified to compete at the Youth Worlds. Staff applications will remain open until June 15, 2026. Selected staff will be contacted in the following weeks.
