The Organization:
Sail Canada is the national sport organization representing the sport of sailing. The Association represents all participants, including recreational sailors and high-performance athletes at the club, provincial, national and international level.

The Opportunity:
Located in beautiful Kingston, Ontario and reporting to the President and Board of Directors, Sail Canada is seeking an outstanding Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide leadership and assume overall responsibility for the operation and administration of Sail Canada’s business including human and financial resources. In addition, the CEO is responsible for strategy development, planning, relationship management, funds development and social media strategies.

The Fit:
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional senior leader who possesses a post-secondary degree in related fields (eg. Sport Management, Business Administration). Masters level preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will bring a minimum of seven years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of senior management experience with a results-driven focus. As a strategic thinker, dedicated professional and self-starter, the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and multi-tasked environment with an emphasis on time lines and delivery.
