Canadians move into Gold fleet - Princesa Sofia

Tuesday, March 31st – Palma, Mallorca

The breeze continues to challenge the sailors on Day 2 of Princesa Sofia Regatta although a little more steady, sailors were forced to wait for the thermal to kick in. Canadian sailors were looking to gain some ground and make the gold fleet cut for final series racing continuing this week.

Canadian Nacra Team Luke Ramsay and Nikola Girke put in another solid day with a 7,4 sitting tightly in 14th while Rafuse and Boyd demonstrate 2 solid races on the FX course, despite suffering a black flag, their 7th on the day puts them into gold in 15th alongside mates Arielle Morgan and Heather Myatt in 17th.

Other Canadians making the cut into gold fleet include Laser sailors Tom Ramshaw & Lee Parkhill currently ranked 33rd and 51st respectively.  Martin Robitaille (Finn) sits in 35th. They will be looking to move up in the ranks over the final series of racing this week.
