Canadian Sailing Team & Development Squad Training Camp
Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019 - Kingston, ON
The Canadian Sailing Team and Development Squad have been chasing the warmer weather this January. While most of them have been training in Miami, Florida for the past month, the rest have joined in time for the Sail Canada Training Camp from January 23rd - 26th.
The camp is an opportunity for the Canadian Sailing Team & Development Squad to spent time together and engage in team building activities while learning valuable skills from special guests. Joining them is Strength & Conditioning Coach Craig MacDonald from the Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic who will be running daily morning activation sessions for the sailors, followed by presentations from guest experts such as Olympian Richard Clarke and Meteorologist Doug Charko.
While the sessions run in the morning, and evening, sailors still have the time to concentrate on their daily training leading up to the Miami World Cup.
Get a sneak peek of the camp by watching our Sai Canada Instagram stories throughout the week.
Stay tuned as racing at the Miami World Cup starts on Monday January 28th!
