Bryant Adlam is a founding director of the Humber Bay Sailing Centre based in Mimico Harbour in Toronto and has been instrumental in helping to rebuild the Sailing School and Boat Sharing Club that was unexpectedly closed in the fall of 2015. He was a member of the previous Humber Sailing Club from 2009 and served as a member of HSC’s board for many years. Since 2015 he has been the volunteer Director of Safety and Education for HBSC.

Humber Bay Sailing Centre commenced operations in late June 2016 and despite the late start, Bryant has been able to jump-start the Sailing School, scheduling and delivering a full curriculum of Sail Canada courses since early July.

He has rebuilt HBSC’s mentoring program and on-water clinics for our club members, promoting an environment of continuous learning and safe sailing practices. In addition, Bryant plays a key role in the maintenance of the club-owned boats by volunteering his time and expertise to ensure that repairs are completed in a timely and safe manner.

As a start-up & member-supported organization the Humber Bay Sailing Centre could not succeed without the energy, effort and commitment provided by Bryant Adlam.

The Humber Bay Sailing Centre is a Registered Member Sailing School with Ontario Sailing and Sail Canada. HBSC delivers Sail Canada programming in Basic and Intermediate Keelboat Sailing, Coastal Navigation, and VHF Radio, and run weeknight racing for members and guests throughout the season.
