2019 Hempel World Cup Series Miami - Day 1
Tuesday January 29th 2019 - Miami, Florida
Miami delivered a light breeze for the first day of racing at the 2019 Hempel World Cup Series Miami. With winds ranging from 5-8 knots throughout the day, many fleets were only able to get 1-2 races in with exception of the Nacra 17 completing their scheduled 3 races for the day.
In the 49erFX, CSDS member Georgia Lewin-LaFrance accompanied by her sister Antonia LaFrance kept to the top of the fleet resulting in a 7th place finish going into day 2.
In the Laser, CST member Robert Davis is currently sitting in 17th after completing two races.
