Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Logan started sailing at the age of 13. First sailing a Byte chartered by Sask-Sport, Logan soon moved on to sailing Lasers and Laser Radials. After competing at numerous Canadian Youth Nationals and the 2005 Canada Games, Logan prepared himself to continue progressing as a Laser sailor. In 2006, Logan suffered a setback when he was involved in a boating accident. Taking some time to focus on his education, Logan spent the next few years studying at the University of Saskatchewan, where in 2011 he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He now spends all his time training with his teammates Paul Tingley and Scott "Slash" Lutes in hopes of medalling at the 2016 Paralympic Games.
