Oman delivered a perfect day of sailing with 15 knots of breeze and sunshine. Three races were completed on Day 3 with more shifting on the leaderboard as Brazil's Robert Scheidt continues to demonstrate his legendary status posting 2 bullets (race wins) and taking over the lead from Croatia's Tonci Stipanovic. Canadians had a difficult day on the water although some shining moments keep the team positive and motivated moving into the final two days of qualification. Lee Parkhill still leads the Canadian crew with a 6, 26 and drop race, sitting in 24th. Robert Davis drops to 43rd and Wright continues to dig out of the somewhat daunting hole created at the start of the event.
The final two qualifying races take place on Wednesday with the finals series starting on Thursday and the last two showdowns set for Saturday.
