Sailors were treated with more favorable conditions on the final medal race day in Biscayne Bay. Canadians were featured in 3 of the medals races on Saturday including the Nacra 17, Finn & Laser Radial. Greg Douglas battled against many of the most talented sailors in the world and lost out to champion Giles Scott from GBR. Douglas placed 5th oveall. Claire Merry had an outstanding week in the Radial, capping it off with her first medal race ever! While things didn't go as planned in the final race, she is pleased with her overall performance this week and personal best World Cup result. Nacra team Luke Ramsay/Nikola Girke did not back down against a strong 37 boat fleet and placed 7th overall with a race win under their belt.

Many of the Canadians will continue their training in Florida while some will return home for a refresher prior to kicking off their European circuit.
