The Sail All program, who's goal is to promote and provide opportunities for youth to become involved in sailing, at little or no cost, and to allow those who wish to continue in sailing, but are constrained financially, to do so, began this past spring.
Founded and run by Sail Canada's June Sailor of the month, Graham Mann, the program has already involved over 200 students with the goal of seeing 1000+ students get on the water.
Currently they are entered in an Aviva Community Involvement competition to try and gain more funding.
Funding from Aviva would finance the purchase of PFD's and sailing gear required for the kids to participate in sailing, and if they choose, for those in financial need to continue sailing throughout the summer.
It would also help to cover the cost of educational aids needed to effectively teach the kids the basics of sailing, and other costs associated with the program.
They need your votes ! Please follow this link to help them out. http://www.avivacommunityfund.org
