Canadian Sailing Team member Richard Clarke and 2009 CYA Rolex Sailor of the Year award winner, Curtis Florence crewed on the winning boat at the 2010 Melges 32 Gold Cup. Rod Jabin (Annapolis, USA) secured his second Melges 32 World Cup title in a row stating "I have to give credit where credit is due. The crew work this weekend has been awesome...they worked so hard and never gave up. That's what this win is about."

The regatta was held at the Lauderdale Yacht Club in Florida. Jabin's winning team on "Ramrod" consisted of tactician Chris Larson, and crew Richard Clarke, Curtis Florence, Ray Wulff, Scott Holmgren and Van Walke.

Richard Clarke was just honored with the B.C Sailor of the Year award on Friday December 4, 2010 for his many acheivements over the last year in the Star class with Canadian Sailing Team crew Tyler Bjorn (Quebec). For more information on Clarke/Bjorn sailing team click HERE.
