Able Sail Kingston presents an evening with Paul Tingley!

Paul tingley sailed his 2.4 metre boat in the Paralympics in Beijing in 2008 to become the first Canadian to win Gold in sailing. In 2010 he won the 2.4 World Championship. Join Paul as he relates the story of Beijing and beyond.

This fundraising event for Able Sail Kingston will be held on Thursday November 18, 2010 at the Sydenham Church in Kingston, Ontario. The doors will open at 6:30pm and the admission for the event is $25 or $15 for students.

Since 2002 Able Sail has been actively providing persons with disabilities the opportunity to sail recreationally and competitively.  The Program is coming off one of our best seasons with tremendous growth in participation, but unfortunately this has come at a cost.  The two Martin 16s are beginning to show their age and we have had some unexpected repairs that had to be completed.  We also had to replace the Mk III Power Assist Joystick Module, which was another unexpected and very expensive expense.  As a result, Able Sail needs to raise funds in order to continue to provide the same level of program for the coming years.

Able Sail is urging that you come out and support this important fundraising event on the 18th!!!
