Announcing the Canadian Youth World Team

Sail Canada is pleased to announce the Canadian Youth World team attending the 2015 ISAF Sailing Youth World Championships in Langkawi, Malaysia. The Sail Canada Youth Championships served as the qualification event this summer in Kingston, Ontario. 11 sailors will represent Canada, all sporting the red and white for the first time at the ISAF Youth World Championships. “With a renewed focus on youth and development, Sail Canada is extremely excited by the prospects of this year’s Youth Worlds Team,” says High Performance Director Ken Dool. “The team is loaded with committed developing sailors, each thrilled for the opportunity to represent their country on the World stage.” Members of the Canadian team will take part in various training camps leading up to the pinnacle event.

29er Boys – Eric Lyall and Andrew Moreno - RVYC

29er Girls – Freja Frykman and Astrid Frykman - RVYC

420 Boys – Patrick Wilson and Arie Moffat – KYC/RNSYS

420 Girls – Terra Lanteigne and Georgia Lewin Lafrance - RNSYS

Laser Radial Girl – Coralie Vittecoq - HYC

Laser Radial Boy – Matti Muru - BYC

RSX Boy: Zane Feder - TWC

Agustin Ferrario has been appointed Team Leader with two other coaches being selected shortly.
